Armenian economy ministry: Azerbaijan's actions have caused long-term and serious damage to economic stability of region
YEREVAN, October 8. /ARKA/. Azerbaijan's actions have already caused long-term and serious damage to the economic stability of the region and may lead to a humanitarian crisis, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Avag Avanesyan said on Thursday.

“While we are talking about common prosperity, about future stable growth and an effective transition period that awaits us after overcoming the epidemic, while we talk about cooperation and involvement, the people of Artsakh have been fighting for ten days for the right to live,” he said.

The deputy minister said that the military aggression of Azerbaijan, carried out with the direct support of Turkey and accompanied by gross violations of international humanitarian law, endangered the security of the entire region.

“The people of Artsakh not only defend their security, but also fight for universal values, democracy and human rights, they oppose terrorism and violence. It is vitally important to understand that the conflict has only a peaceful solution, otherwise the region will be on the brink of a humanitarian crisis,” Avanesyan said.
