YEREVAN, June 26./ARKA/. Armenia’s Ministry of Finance doesn’t see any obstacles in gaining additional tax revenues this year, Deputy Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan told Orakarg newspaper (Agenda) in the interview.

State Revenue Committee already collected 14.6 billion drams more in January-May from the same period of a year earlier, according to him. And the total amount of tax revenues should increase just by 101 billion drams this year.

Thus, the source reports that it is necessary to collect additional 86.4 billion drams (85.5% of the total amount) or 12.3 billion drams more per month compared to the identified level.

However, there are still some risks here. According to Aramyan, such uneven collection of taxes per quarterly period is explained by seasonal factor which is justified by household subjects.

“If they make over the added value in the second half of the year, this will apparently result in increasing the tax base and rise in tax payments,” he said. Aramyan supposes that the country will not face any difficulty in tax collection this year.

“This is a program, and we should implement it,” he added. -0-
