Armenian goods center to open in Iran
YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. As part of his working visit to Iran, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Armenian Republic Narek Hovakimyan met with Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi, Deputy Minister of the Iranian Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Mines, and Head of the Trade Development Organization.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, the participants discussed the bilateral trade and economic relations between Armenia and Iran. Hovakimyan welcomed the opening of the Iran Trade Center in Yerevan and talked about the plans to open a similar center in Iran showcasing Armenian goods.
The participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation under the memorandum of understanding on the exchange of goods signed in Yerevan and expressed their readiness to explore new platforms.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Nasibyan and the Trade Attaché of Armenia in Iran Vardan Kostanyan. -0-
