Armenian Jewelers Foundation (AJF) for the first time will provide five educational grants for training young jewelers in diamond classification, the foundation’s press office reported on Friday.

YEREVAN, August 8. /ARKA/. Armenian Jewelers Foundation (AJF) for the first time will provide five educational grants for training young jewelers in diamond classification, the foundation’s press office reported on Friday.
According to the press office, AJF along with Armenian Gemological Laboratory and Academy will provide scholarships to five students from five regional groups – Yerevan, Armenia’s provinces, Artsakh, the Armenian community in Syria, and Armenian communities in other countries.
Aram Shishmanyan, the scholarship manager of the AJF’s council of trustees, said the foundation is searching new ways of training young specialists in jewelry design, gemology and jewelry art and contributing to their international recognition.
The Armenian Jewelry Foundations has been established for developing Armenian jewelry legacy.
