Armenian premier hands diplomas to graduates of Armenian State University of Economics

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, who is also the chairman of the Armenian State University of Economics, handed Tuesday diplomas to the university graduates.

YEREVAN, June 29. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, who is also the chairman of the Armenian State University of Economics, handed Tuesday diplomas to the university graduates.
He is quoted by the government’s press office as saying at the ceremony that all necessary conditions for modern education have been created in the university over several years.
The premier expressed hope that this has produced the expected results and that graduates have obtained necessary knowledge.
He stressed that a well-educated society is a pledge of a reliable state, development and progress and accomplishment of a competitive country first of all depends on high-qualified specialists.
“As head of the government, I attach great importance to high-quality economists, whose knowledge can contribute to development of our economy,” Abrahamyan said adding that highly qualified specialists will give a new impetus to development of Armenia’s economy. --0----
