Armenian revenue collection rate surged by 25.1%

In the first half of 2019 revenue collection rate surged by 25.1% or 152 billion drams, as opposed to the same time span of 2018,  the Armenian government said in its Facebook post.

YEREVAN, July 31 /ARKA/. In the first half of 2019 revenue collection rate surged by 25.1% or 152 billion drams, as opposed to the same time span of 2018,  the Armenian government said in its Facebook post.

It said the additional revenue made it possible to increase the military's salaries by 10% from June 1. Also from September 1, the salaries of about 38 thousand teachers will grow  by 10%. From January 1, 2020, pensions will be increased by 10%.

Additional 7 billion 400 million drams will be allocated for the repair of  303 km-long roads. And another additional 10 billion drams will be allocated to the regions for financing the implementation of various programs.

Also 3 billion drams will be allocated to provide apartments to families  who lost their homes in the 1988 earthquake. ($1 - AMD 475.81). -0-
