YEREVAN, November 16. /ARKA/. Armenian stone-milling companies should think over new sales markets, Arsen Ghazaryan, chairman of the Union of Armenian Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers), said today.

He said that no building boom is expected, and construction in Sochi, where stones had been sent, will be over soon.

Ghazaryan thinks marketing studies should be conducted at the world market to find outlets for Armenian stones.

He said that Armenia now successfully exports only three kinds of stones – freshwater limestone, petrosilex and basalt. The country sends them to China and India as well as to Europe and the United States in small batches.

The chairman of the union also pointed out the necessity to re-equip stone-million enterprises. -0-
