Aske Group awarded three-year vat payment deferment

Speaking a government session today economy minister Tigran Davtian said Aske Group company has already invested 7.8 billion drams in the construction of a new plant for the production of reinforcement rods. The government granted it today a three-year VAT payment deferment.

YEREVAN, July 4. /ARKA/. Speaking a government session today economy minister Tigran Davtian said Aske Group company has already invested 7.8 billion drams in the construction of a new plant for the production of reinforcement rods. The government granted it today a three-year VAT payment deferment.
The deferment is awarded to companies which import more than 300 million drams worth modern equipment or technology to expand their output and modernize production facilities.
Davtian said the company intends to bring in steelmaking machines and will create 300 new jobs. He also noted that the plant will be built by Austrian Siemens VAI’s technology.
On his side, prime minister Tigran Sargsyan said this project will be subject to monitoring and should be given wide media coverage. ($1 - 418.66 drams). -0-
