Each Armenian company that will showcase its products at PROD EXPO 2015 food fair in Russia will be provided with a 2.5 million dram government assistance, said today Zhirair Aramyan from the Armenian Development Agency (ADA).
YEREVAN, June 16. / ARKA /. Each Armenian company that will showcase its products at PROD EXPO 2015 food fair in Russia will be provided with a 2.5 million dram government assistance, said today Zhirair Aramyan from the Armenian Development Agency (ADA).
He said PROD EXPO is Russia’s largest annual food and beverage event, hosting thousands of exhibitors and welcoming tens of thousands visitors. He added that the fair is a good opportunity for Armenian companies to win new markets. The 22nd fair will be held February 9-13 in Moscow.
"Participation in such fairs is very prestigious, but also expensive. That is why these companies will get government support,’ Aramyan reporters today.
According to him, the government will assume half of the cost of these companies’ participation in the fair.
He said producers of wine, brandy, other alcoholic and soft drinks, canned food, dried fruit and natural juices are invited to participate in the fair.
He said Armenia’s upcoming accession to the Eurasian Economic Union will facilitate the participation of local companies in the fair, particularly, logistics, certification and customs clearance procedures .
Armenia first presented its products at PROD EXPO 2014 at a separate pavilion, featuring such brands as Armavir Wynyard, Astafian, Matevossian Wine, Maran, Areni Hin and Domain Avetisyan. ($ 1 - 411.86 drams). -0 -
