During an inspection of "MEGA SHIN" LLC, regulator employees found that the concrete plant, operating in Yerevan, was operating without a permit for the emission of harmful substances from stationary sources into the atmosphere.
By decision of the head of the Yerevan branch of the Inspectorate, the plant's operations have been suspended.
The company's director was fined 300,000 drams and also required to pay 411,800 drams in compensation for environmental damage. ($1 = 381.07 drams)
