The volume of construction work in Armenia from January to November 2025 amounted to 644,590.2 million drams (at current prices), an increase of 20.1% compared to January to November 2024, according to the Statistical Committee.
YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. The volume of construction work in Armenia from January to November 2025 amounted to 644,590.2 million drams (at current prices), an increase of 20.1% compared to January to November 2024, according to the Statistical Committee.
Moreover, in November, this figure amounted to 93,155.7 million drams, a 17.2% increase compared to November of the previous year.
Construction financed by the state budget for the first 11 months amounted to 166,412.2 million drams, or 25.8% of the total construction volume (an increase of 34.6% compared to the same period in 2024). The volume of construction financed by community funds amounted to 34,991.9 million drams (a 5.4% share, an increase of 28.1%), while humanitarian aid funds amounted to 2,340.3 million drams (a 0.4% share, a 36.2% decrease), while organizational funds amounted to 298,960.7 million drams (a 46.4% share, an increase of 15%) and the population's funds amounted to 141,885.1 million drams (a 22% share, an increase of 16.4%).
Moreover, the volume of construction financed by international loans over the 11 months amounted to 32,520.4 million drams (a 5.4% share), with a 17.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. Of the international loans, the World Bank contributed AMD 1,582.1 million, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development AMD 1,940.1 million, the European Investment Bank AMD 780.9 million, the Asian Development Bank AMD 15,394.6 million, the German Development Bank AMD 2,913.0 million, and other institutions AMD 12,157.6 million.
The largest share of construction work was carried out in real estate (AMD 325,568.4 million, a 50.5% share of the total), transport (AMD 83,077.0 million, a 12.9% share), and education (AMD 72,520.7 million, a 11.3% share). ($1 = AMD 379.42)
