Construction volume in Armenia increased by 20.6% in the first 10 months, exceeding 551 billion drams

The volume of construction work in Armenia from January to October 2025 amounted to 551,434.5 million drams (in current prices), an increase of 20.6% compared to January to October 2024, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

YEREVAN, December 9. /ARKA/. The volume of construction work in Armenia from January to October 2025 amounted to 551,434.5 million drams (in current prices), an increase of 20.6% compared to January to October 2024, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Moreover, in October, this figure amounted to 89,272.5 million drams, a 20.1% increase compared to October of the previous year.

The volume of construction financed by the state budget for the first 10 months amounted to 145,202.2 million drams, or 26.3% of the total construction volume (an increase of 38.2% compared to the same period in 2024). The volume of construction work financed by community funds amounted to 27,913.2 million drams (a 5.1% share, an increase of 28.4%), while humanitarian aid funds amounted to 1,880.3 million drams (a 0.3% share, a 45.9% decrease), while organizational funds amounted to 256,321.6 million drams (a 46.5% share, an increase of 15.5%) and the population's funds amounted to 120,117.2 million drams (a 21.8% share, an increase of 14.9%).

Moreover, the volume of construction financed by international loans over the 10 months amounted to 32,520.4 million drams (a 5.9% share), with a decrease of 11.8% compared to the same period last year. Of the international loans, the World Bank contributed AMD 1,339.9 million, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development AMD 1,886.3 million, the European Investment Bank AMD 649.7 million, the Asian Development Bank AMD 14,679.7 million, the German Development Bank AMD 1,835.1 million, and other institutions AMD 12,129.7 million.

The largest share of construction work was carried out in real estate (AMD 279,574.5 million, a 50.7% share of the total), transportation (AMD 71,442.1 million, a 13% share), and education (AMD 63,612.8 million, a 11.5% share). ($1 = AMD 381.55)
