Construction in Armenia grows 0.4% to AMD 170.8 billion in Jan-July 2015

Construction in Armenia showed a 0.4% year-on-year growth in Jan-July 2015, the National Statistical Service reports.

YEREVAN, September 7. / ARKA /. Construction in Armenia showed a 0.4% year-on-year growth in Jan-July 2015, the National Statistical Service reports.
Construction worth AMD 170.8 billion was carried out over the mentioned period in the country.
Population-paid construction amounted to AMD 42.2 billion and made up 24.7% of the total amount (21.4% growth).
The construction carried out at the account of organizations cost AMD 81.1 billion and constituted 47.9% of the total amount (1.1% growth).
Construction paid from financial resources received as humanitarian aid cost 4 255.6 million and made up 2.5% of the total construction (50% growth), that paid from the government budget AMD 23.2 billion and 13.6% respectively (8.9% decline), from community funds AMD 2 876.7 million or 1.7% (77.6% decline).
Construction paid from international loans totaled about AMD 16.3 billion or 9.6% (24.9% growth) – AMD 4 917.1 million was taken from the World Bank, AMD 1 885.7 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, AMD 6 602.7 million from Germany’s KfW Bank and AMD 2 386.3 million from other sources.
