Consumer prices in Armenia increased by 8.6% in 2022 compared to 2021, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.
YEREVAN, January 31. /ARKA/. Consumer prices in Armenia increased by 8.6% in 2022 compared to 2021, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.
It said in December 2022 the increase was 1.1% compared to November and 8.3% compared to December 2021.
According to the NSC, the industrial goods in 2022 rose by 2.6% in prices. In December 2022, their prices increased by 3.5% against November, but dropped by 0.4% against December of the previous year.
According to the National Statistics Committee, Armenia's economic activity in January-December 2022 registered an increase of 14.2% compared to the same period in 2021. ($1 to AMD 395.88). -0-
