Domestic trade turnover in Armenia amounted to 892.2 billion drams in the first two months, up 3.3%

Domestic trade turnover in Armenia in January-February 2026 amounted to 892,247.1 million drams (at current prices), an increase of 3.3% compared to January-February 2025, according to the Statistical Committee.

YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. Domestic trade turnover in Armenia in January-February 2026 amounted to 892,247.1 million drams (at current prices), an increase of 3.3% compared to January-February 2025, according to the Statistical Committee.

In February 2026, this figure amounted to 477,502.6 million drams, an increase of 5.6% compared to February 2025, and 14.4% compared to January of the same year.

In total, wholesale trade turnover for two months amounted to 566,595.6 million drams (share - 63.5%, growth compared to the same period of the previous year - 0.8%), retail trade turnover - 291,446.4 million drams (share - 32.7%, growth - 8.1%), and automobile trade turnover - 34,205.1 million drams (share - 3.8%, growth - 5.8%).

In the retail trade structure, stores account for 82.2% of total retail turnover (volume: 239,497.5 million drams, growth of 7.5%), consumer goods markets – 4.0% (11,798.7 million drams, growth of 6.4%), kiosks – 1.2% (3,485.5 million drams, decline of 9.0%), and agricultural produce markets – 0.9% (2,669.0 million drams, growth of 6.1%).

The share of other retail outlets is 11.7% (33,995.7 million drams, growth of 15.4%). ($1 - 376.32 drams)
