Domestic trade turnover in Armenia in January-April amounted to 1.9 trillion drams, growing by 5.2%

YEREVAN, June 10. /ARKA/. Domestic trade turnover in Armenia for the four months of 2025 amounted to 1,875,252.0 million drams (in current prices), increasing by 5.2% compared to the four months of 2024. This was reported by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic.
At the same time, in April 2025, this figure amounted to 531,624.4 million drams, an increase of 3.2% compared to April 2024, and 1.4% compared to March of the same year.
In total, the wholesale trade turnover for the reporting period amounted to 1,230,335.7 million drams (share - 65.6%, growth compared to January-April of the previous year - 4.5%), retail trade turnover - 572,652.0 million drams (share - 30.5%, growth - 5.4%), and automobile trade turnover - 72,264.3 million drams (share - 3.9%, growth - 15.9%). In the structure of retail trade, the share of shops in the total retail turnover is 82.8% (volume - 474,338.7 million drams, growth - 5.1%), the share of consumer goods markets - 3.7% (21,126.4 million drams, decline - 0.5%), kiosks - 1.3% (7,328.8 million drams, decline - 1.2%), agricultural markets - 0.9% (4,980.3 million drams, growth - 6.2%), and other trade facilities - 11.3% (64,877.8 million drams, growth - 10.3%).
