YEREVAN, July 11. /ARKA/. By the decision of the head of the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia, the production of beef cutlets at the “Natfood” CJSC (Biella brand) in Yerevan has been suspended.

According to the regulator's report, the reason for the ban was the discovery during a laboratory examination of Biella "beef cutlets" (production date 02.07.2025) of the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union for the content of E. coli (Escherichia coli) and salmonella (Salmonella typhi).

“Natfood” CJSC has been instructed to bring the products into compliance with the requirements of regulatory acts, and has also been ordered to ban the sale of this batch, recall it from the market and dispose of it. The enterprise has been given a deadline to eliminate the identified violations.
