As part of an inspection conducted at the Biokat LLC dairy production facility in the Akhtanak district of Yerevan, inspectors from the Yerevan Center of the Food Safety Inspectorate collected and sent samples of sour cream (18%), matsun (5%), peach yogurt (1.5%), and Chechil cheese (45%) for laboratory testing.

YEREVAN, August 7. /ARKA/. As part of an inspection conducted at the Biokat LLC dairy production facility in the Akhtanak district of Yerevan, inspectors from the Yerevan Center of the Food Safety Inspectorate collected and sent samples of sour cream (18%), matsun (5%), peach yogurt (1.5%), and Chechil cheese (45%) for laboratory testing. This information was reported by the regulator's press service.

Only one product sample, the matsun (5%), did not meet the technical regulations of the Customs Union for the E. coli indicator.

The production of matsun (5%) at Biokat LLC has been suspended. A deadline has been set to eliminate the identified violations. The manufacturer was ordered to prohibit the sale of the affected products, recall them from the market, and destroy or dispose of them. The manufacturer was also instructed to ensure that future products comply with current technical regulations.-0-
