Economy, energy, culture: Armenia and Turkmenistan outline directions for developing economic cooperation

YEREVAN, March 27. /ARКА/. The 10th anniversary meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and Turkmenistan was held on Wednesday in Yerevan.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by Batyr Amanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Co-Chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission.
As reported by the Armenian Co-Chairman of the Commission, David Khudatyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, the meeting involved detailed discussions on the implementation of the provisions outlined in the protocol of the previous meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission. A wide range of issues related to further advancing economic cooperation between the two countries was also discussed, with promising areas identified for the consistent development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Armenia and Turkmenistan.
“We also discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres, including trade and economy, fuel and energy, education, science, culture, and others. Several important stages have been identified that will make our future cooperation more comprehensive and effective,” Khudatyan wrote on Facebook.
Following the discussions, the protocol of the 10th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and Turkmenistan was signed.
