The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) forecasts Armenia's economic growth of 5.3% in 2026.
YEREVAN, February 23. /ARKA/. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) forecasts Armenia's economic growth of 5.3% in 2026.
"Armenia's GDP grew by 7.2% by the end of 2025. The largest contribution to GDP growth came from the services sector – financial activities, information and communications, and construction (increased by 14.7%, 18.6%, and 21.0%, respectively). Household consumer spending and investment were the main demand-side drivers (growth of 10.7% and 15.6%, respectively)," according to the EDB's weekly macro review.

Armenia's economic growth is projected at 5.4% in the 2026 state budget. According to the Central Bank's monetary policy report for the fourth quarter of last year, Armenia's GDP growth is expected to be 6.3-4.1% by the end of 2026, depending on scenarios (A-B), and 4.9-5.3% in 2027.
International financial institutions' economic growth forecasts for Armenia for 2026 are as follows: EDB – 5.3%; WB – 4.9%; IMF – 5.5%; EBRD – 4.5%; Fitch Ratings – above 5% (for 2026-2027).
