Eduard Muradyan reelected as Chairman of American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia

Eduard Muradyan, director of the legal firm Prudence, was reelected as chairman of American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia – AmCham on Monday at the 12th annual assembly of the organization, the AmCham press office reported on Wednesday.

YEREVAN, September 12. /ARKA/. Eduard Muradyan, director of the legal firm Prudence, was reelected as chairman of American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia – AmCham on Monday at the 12th annual assembly of the organization, the AmCham press office reported on Wednesday. 

David Atanesyan and Georgy Isayan were reelected as first and second deputies of the chairman.

The organization’s achievements and effectiveness of cooperation with Armenian government were discussed and development prospects were outlined at the session. AmCham presented its financial report. 

The assembly participants also stressed the importance of cooperation with the United States’ Embassy in Armenia. 

New director were elected at the assembly, particularly Ararat Ghgukasyan (Byblos Bank Armenia), Arthur Hovhannisyan (Armenian branch of Synergy International Systems), Gagik Arzumanyan (Armenian Copper Program, ACP), Gagik Gyulbudaghyan (Grant Thornton), Garnik Tonoyan (INGO Armenia insurance company), Diana Ghazaryan (Armenian office of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc), Karen Zakaryan (NASDAQ OMX Armenia), Heiko Kreisel (Zeppelin Armenia) and Tigran Gasparyan (KPMG Armenia). 

American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia is an independent business union, which started functioning in 2000. Some 100 organizations from almost all the segments of Armenia’s economy are AmCham members. 

AmCham closely cooperates with Armenian government, international organizations and prominent entrepreneurs to improve business environment in the country. -0—
