YEREVAN, May 27. /ARKA/. Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC has repaid approximately $9 million in loans to international banks, the company's interim manager, Romanos Petrosyan, announced on his Facebook page.

According to him, as of July 2025, when the administrative proceedings against ENA were initiated by the Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, the company's total liabilities to international and local banks, as well as on issued bonds, including accrued interest, amounted to approximately $396.8 million.

Of this amount, liabilities to international banks amounted to approximately $123.3 million, Petrosyan reported. He also noted that these loans were secured by 100% of the company's shares.

According to him, ENA's loan portfolio currently stands at approximately $347.6 million, of which $93.2 million is international loans.

"During the temporary management period, ENA's financial obligations to international and local banks were reduced by approximately $50 million, including through early repayments," Petrosyan stated.

He emphasized that payments were made exclusively from the company's own funds, without attracting additional financial resources.
