YEREVAN, January 15. /ARKA/. Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC has issued bonds totaling $20 million and 7.7 billion drams, according to the company's press service.

"Electric Networks of Armenia" invites you to become a partner by purchasing the company's dollar and dram bonds until January 24," the statement said.

The nominal value of each dram bond is 100,000 drams, and each dollar bond is $100, with coupon yields of 10.75% and 7.45%, respectively.

The bonds have a 6-year maturity, with coupon payments made every 3 months.

Reliability

The renowned international rating agency Moody's assigned ENA a Ba2 rating with a stable outlook, which is one notch higher than the sovereign rating of the Republic of Armenia.

Advantages

The bonds are exempt from income tax and can be traded on the secondary market, allowing investors to buy and sell them on the Armenia Stock Exchange.

How to buy?

The process of purchasing ENA bonds is straightforward. Investors can buy bonds entirely online and in an automated mode using the “MyInvest” platform through Ameriabank's “MyAmeria” app. Alternatively, investors can visit any Ameriabank branch to fill out an application or send the completed form via email to Ameriabank at capitalmarkets@ameriabank.am.

The bond issuance prospectus was registered by the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia under Decision No. 1/422A on November 6, 2024. Proceeds from the bond issuance will be used to finance investment and other programs.

Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA) previously issued 320,000 bonds worth 32 billion drams in December 2023.

ENA is part of the Tashir Group of Companies, owned by entrepreneur and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan. ENA manages medium and low-voltage distribution networks in Armenia. ($1 = 397.78 drams)
