EU plans to implement economic stimulation projects in Armenia

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan had a working meeting on Wednesday with the head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, and the head of the EU Delegation's Cooperation Department, Frank Hess, the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister reported.

YEREVAN, March 29. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan had a working meeting on Wednesday with the head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, and the head of the EU Delegation's Cooperation Department, Frank Hess, the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister reported.

It said Khachatryan spoke about the projects implemented by the Armenian government within the framework of the EU economic and investment plan.

He highly assessed the close cooperation with the EU and attached importance to development of relations with the EU in all directions.

The interlocutors touched upon the cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the Yerevan Buses project and large-scale project for the re-equipping of schools in the regions of Armenia.

Ambassador Wictorin expressed the EU's positive attitude to the government's policy. The Ambassador touched upon the EU-supported programs envisaged for boosting Armenia's economy, development of small and medium-size businesses, energy and infrastructures. -0-
