Finance minister: Armenia’s per-capita GDP to reach $4,700 by 2020

Armenia’s per-capital GDP will reach $4,700 by 2020, Vardan Aramyan, Armenian finance minister, told reporters on Sunday.

YEREVAN, July 17. /ARKA/. Armenia’s per-capita GDP will reach $4,700 by 2020, Vardan Aramyan, Armenian finance minister, told reporters on Sunday.
“The country’s per-capita GDP stood at $3,500 in 2016, while in 2020 it will reach $4,700, if no forex fluctuations affect it,” he said.
The minister also added that these calculations had been based on the AMD 480 per one US dollar exchange rate.
In 2016, per-capita GDP amounted to AMD 1,693,523 ($3,525) against AMD 679,920 (3,515) in 2015. --0----
