YEREVAN, 13 December. /ARKA/. The formation of a common energy market for all members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) has been encountering serious difficulties, as a result of which some of the announced initiatives are not fully functioning, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

‘Given the complex structure of this sector, the efficiency and timeliness of the establishment of the common energy market depends on the willingness of the parties to find compromise solutions,’ Pashinyan said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Moscow on Friday.

The Armenian premier expressed confidence that systematic approach, coordination of interests, readiness for compromises will help in strengthening energy security, as well as accelerate the process of creating a common market of energy resources for all EUU member states.

Pashinyan also said that Armenia reaffirms its readiness for mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at increasing the efficiency and practical results of the EEU.-0-
