YEREVAN, December 26. /ARKA/. Gas supply to Armenia was interrupted for 6 hours on December 26, according to the press service of “Gazprom Armenia”.

"The supply of natural gas to Armenia was halted on December 26 from 13:00 to 19:00 due to emergency repair work on a 125-kilometer section of the “Kazakh-Saguramo” main gas pipeline (DN 1000) of the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia transit main gas pipeline, which supplies gas to Armenia," the press service of Gazprom Armenia CJSC reported.

The company stated that during this period, uninterrupted and reliable gas supply to consumers in Armenia would continue without restrictions, utilizing internal reserves.

On gas supplies from the Russian Federation to Armenia

“Gazprom Armeni”a CJSC is a 100% subsidiary of the Russian energy holding PJSC Gazprom, which is the sole supplier of gas from the Russian Federation to Armenia for domestic consumption.

Russian "blue fuel" is supplied to Armenia by Gazprom Armenia, transiting through the territory of Georgia. The price of gas for Armenia (at the border) is $165 per 1,000 cubic meters ($1 = 396.06 drams).
