Gazprom ships 1.343 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Armenia in January September, up 5.5% year-on-year

Russian Gazprom has shipped 1.343 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Armenia in January-September this year, an increase of 5.5% from the same time span last year, Gazprom Armenia said today.

YEREVAN, October 30. / ARKA /. Russian Gazprom has shipped 1.343 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Armenia in January-September this year, an increase of 5.5% from the same time span last year, Gazprom Armenia said today.
Sales of natural gas in the country in the reporting period of time amounted to 1317.1 billion cubic meters, which is 5.7% higher from the same period last year.
Gazprom Armenia said also consumption of natural gas by households decreased by 2% from the year earlier to 354.4 million cubic meters, while consumption by the industrial sector dropped by 13.8% to 172.9 million cubic meters.
In the meantime, consumption by energy sector surged by 32.9% to 323.6 million cubic and by liquefied natural gas stations by 6.4% to 352.4 million cubic meters.
Gazprom Armenia, 100% owned by Russian Gazprom, deals with gas supplies to Armenia. The company is also engaged in transportation, storage, distribution and sale of natural gas, reconstruction and expansion of the gas transmission system and underground gas storage facilities.-0-
