Government to release 482.3 million drams to pay for road repairs

YEREVAN, November 11. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today the release of 482.3 million drams to pay for the repair of a number of highways in the country.
According to the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, part of the funds will be used to pay for the repair of the highway that runs from the capital Yerevan to the Meghri on the border with Iran and the other part for the repair of a road that connects the third-largest town of Vanadzor with Dilijan.
He said back in June, tenders were announced to select companies for the repair of these roads and contracts were concluded. He said the released amount will be paid to the contractors for their services. The total amount is 482.302 million drams.
