The output from agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in Armenia from January to September 2025, at current prices, totaled AMD 738,573.6 million, reflecting a 6.1% increase compared to the same timeframe in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee.

YEREVAN, November 7. /ARKA/. The output from agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in Armenia from January to September 2025, at current prices, totaled AMD 738,573.6 million, reflecting a 6.1% increase compared to the same timeframe in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee.

Thus, agricultural output saw a 6% rise during this period, reaching AMD 686,552.8 million. Livestock production was valued at 281,547.9 million drams, marking a 1.5% increase from January to September of the previous year, while crop production hit 405,004.9 million drams, up by 9.5%.

In the first three quarters of this year, 70.1 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat for slaughter (live weight) were sold in the country, representing a 1.3% increase. Additionally, 486.6 thousand tons of milk were produced (a decrease of 1.4%) and 661.1 million eggs (an increase of 12.5%). During this reporting period, 240.4 thousand tons of grains and legumes were cultivated (an increase of 8.7%), 197.2 thousand tons of potatoes (an increase of 13.8%), 508.9 thousand tons of vegetables (an increase of 1.3%), 102.8 thousand tons of melons (an increase of 11.8%), 270.9 thousand tons of fruits and berries (an increase of 19.9%), and 171.8 million grapes (an increase of 40.7%).

In the forestry sector, the production volume for the first nine months reached 2,736.6 million drams (an increase of 64.8%), while the fisheries sector reported 49,284.2 million drams (an increase of 4.5%). ($1 - 382.48 drams).-0-
