"Hardest part has been passed": Yerevan mayor is confident that the Ajapnyak metro station will be built

YEREVAN, June 11. /ARKA/. The Ajapnyak station of the Yerevan metro will be built, the hardest part has been passed, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan said in parliament.
"The project to build a new station is one of the most difficult ones - for the first time in the modern history of Armenia. Two days ago, it underwent a comprehensive examination, which took seven months," Avinyan said on Wednesday during the discussion of the report on the implementation of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2024.
According to him, there has not been such a project in the country for more than 40 years. "It will take some time to implement, but I tirelessly tell you with confidence that this station will be built. All we have to do is competently organize the competition and allocate the appropriate funding, and then hold a competition for technical supervision," Avinyan said.
