YEREVAN, June 11. /ARKA/. The prospects for developing current cooperation in the field of customs regulation within the EAEU were discussed at a meeting between the head of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Eduard Hakobyan and the Minister of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission Ruslan Davydov.

The issues of implementing a number of planned initiatives were touched upon, including those related to improving the current legal framework, the press service of the State Revenue Committee reported.

The issues of increasing the efficiency of customs transit procedures on the territory of the EAEU were also discussed, in particular, the launch of relevant shipments within the framework of the agreement "On the unified system of customs transit of the Eurasian Economic Union and third parties", as well as the agreement on the application of rules for determining the place of origin in the EAEU.

The parties also reviewed the mechanisms of customs regulation within the framework of the draft program of activities for the implementation of the declaration "Eurasian Economic Path" for the period up to 2030 and 2045, and discussed issues of logistical support at border crossings.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue and develop cooperation in all existing areas within the EAEU.
