Heads of anti-trust agencies from EEU member countries to meet in Yerevan

The Eurasian Economic Commission, the governing body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), will hold a meeting of heads of anti-trust agencies of EEU member states Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia in Yerevan on April 14.

YEREVAN, April 11. /ARKA/. The Eurasian Economic Commission, the governing body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), will hold a meeting of heads of anti-trust agencies of EEU member states Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia in Yerevan on April 14. The meeting will be chaired by Nurlan Aldabergenov, Eurasian Economic Commission Board Member (Minister) for Competition and Antitrust Regulation.
The meeting is expected to discuss some issues on the harmonization of legislation, removal of barriers in international cellular communications among EEU member states, anti-competitive practices in conclusion of distribution and dealer agreements. Particular attention will be paid to the fight against anti-competitive agreements (cartels).
The Yerevan gathering will be attended by Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. The event will bring to the Armenian capital delegations from CIS member countries and the head of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service Igor Artemyev. -- 0--
