The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised its growth forecast for Armenia's economy, now anticipating a rise of 4.5% by the end of 2025, according to the latest April edition of the World Economic Outlook report.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised its growth forecast for Armenia's economy, now anticipating a rise of 4.5% by the end of 2025, according to the latest April edition of the World Economic Outlook report. This figure represents a decline from the 4.9% growth estimate issued in the same report last year.
The IMF's updated outlook also projects that Armenia's economy will continue to grow at the same rate of 4.5% in 2026.
Additionally, analysts from the IMF predict that inflation in Armenia will reach 3.3% in 2025, easing slightly to 3% in 2026. For comparison, the Armenian government's state budget for 2025 anticipates economic growth of 5.1%, with inflation projected at 3% (±1%).
Notably, inflation in Armenia stood at 3.3% year-on-year in March, an increase from 2.5% in the previous month.
The IMF's updated outlook also projects that Armenia's economy will continue to grow at the same rate of 4.5% in 2026.
