In April 2025, 4,778 real estate purchase and sale transactions were made in the Armenian real estate market, compared to 4,528 transactions in April 2024 and 4,258 in March 2025.

YEREVAN, May 11. /ARKA/. In April 2025, 4,778 real estate purchase and sale transactions were made in the Armenian real estate market, compared to 4,528 transactions in April 2024 and 4,258 in March 2025. This is evidenced by data from the National Statistical Committee.

The largest number of transactions in the reporting month - 1,890 (39.6% of the total) - were made in Yerevan, the smallest number - 69 (1.5%) - in Vayots Dzor.

In the sphere of real estate purchase and sale, land transactions prevail (1,881 or 39.5% of the total). There were also 1,662 transactions with apartments in multi-apartment buildings (34.8%), 561 transactions with residential buildings (11.7%), 456 transactions with garages (9.5%), 179 transactions with public buildings (3.7%) and 39 transactions with industrial buildings (0.8%).

In April of this year, foreign citizens made 154 real estate purchase transactions in Armenia. Of these, 93 transactions were made by Russian citizens, 26 by citizens of European countries, 15 by US citizens, 12 by CIS countries (excluding the Russian Federation), 5 by Iranian citizens, and 3 more transactions were made by citizens of other countries.

Of the 154 real estate purchase transactions made by foreign citizens, 89 were in the market of apartments in multi-apartment buildings, 21 - garages, 20 - residential buildings, 17 - land, 5 - public buildings, 2 - industrial buildings. Foreigners bought real estate most in Yerevan (103 transactions), least in Syunik region (1 transaction). At the same time, in the reporting month, foreign citizens in Armenia made 192 real estate sales transactions. Thus, 151 transactions were made by Russian citizens, 11 - by citizens of the CIS countries (excluding the Russian Federation), 10 - by European countries, 8 - by US citizens, 5 - by Iranian citizens, and another 7 transactions were made by citizens of other countries. Of the 192 real estate sales transactions by foreign citizens, 80 were made in the market of apartments in multi-apartment buildings, 58 in the land market, 48 residential buildings, 5 garages, and 3 public buildings. There were no transactions in the market of industrial buildings. Foreign citizens sold real estate most in Yerevan (47 transactions), and least in Vayots Dzor region (3 transactions). -0-
