In July, Armenia's 12-month inflation rate was 3.8%, while prices fell 0.8% over the month

Compared to July 2024, inflation in Armenia was 3.4% in July 2025, while prices fell by 0.8% over the month. These figures are supported by data from the National Statistical Committee (NSC) of Armenia.

YEREVAN, August 6. /ARKA/. Compared to July 2024, inflation in Armenia was 3.4% in July 2025, while prices fell by 0.8% over the month. These figures are supported by data from the National Statistical Committee (NSC) of Armenia.

According to the NSC, prices for food products and soft drinks increased by 4.7% in July 2025 compared to July 2024, but decreased by 2.7% over the month.

Alcohol and tobacco products increased in price by 6.7% year-over-year and by 0.6% compared to June of this year. Clothing and footwear prices decreased by 2% in July 2024 (a 0.9% month-on-month decline), while utility prices increased by 0.8% (a 0.3% month-on-month increase). The price of household goods, household appliances, and daily apartment maintenance activities remained unchanged year-on-year and fell by 0.5% over the month.

In July, prices in the healthcare sector increased by 3.8% year-over-year (up 0.1% month-over-month), while the transport sector saw growth of 7.2% (up 2.9% month-over-month). The communications sector saw a decline of 0%.In the recreation and culture sector, prices increased by 2% (0% over the month). In the education sector, prices increased by 7.8% (0% over the month). In the restaurant and hotel sectors, prices increased by 2.4% (0.2% over the month). 

For various goods and services, prices increased by 0.1% over the year (decreased by 0.2% over the month). According to statistics, prices in the non-food market increased by 0.1% in July of this year compared to July last year and remained unchanged compared to June of the same year. Additionally, the growth of tariffs for services for the population in July 2025 increased by 3.6% over the year and by 0.6% over the month.

Armenia's economic growth in the 2025 state budget is projected at 5.1%. According to the Central Bank's report on monetary policy for the second quarter of this year, Armenia's GDP growth is expected to be 5.1%-4.6% by the end of 2025, depending on the scenario (A-B); 4.9%-4.4% in 2026; and 4.7%-5.0% in 2027.-0-
