In June, 12-month inflation in Armenia amounted to 3.9%, while prices fell by 1.3% over the month

In June 2025, compared to June 2024, inflation of 3.9% was registered in Armenia, while deflation was 1.3% over the month. This is evidenced by the data of the report of the National Statistical Committee (NSC) of Armenia.

YEREVAN, July 3. /ARKA/. In June 2025, compared to June 2024, inflation of 3.9% was registered in Armenia, while deflation was 1.3% over the month. This is evidenced by the data of the report of the National Statistical Committee (NSC) of Armenia.

According to the NSC, in June 2025, compared to June 2024, prices for food products and soft drinks increased by 6.2%, while over the month they decreased by 3.5%.

In June, alcoholic and tobacco products increased in price by 6.2% over the year, and by 0.5% compared to May of the current year. Prices for clothing and footwear in June 2024 decreased by 2% (a month-on-month decline of 1.4%), while prices for utilities increased by 1.2% (a month-on-month decline of 0.2%). Household goods, household appliances, and daily apartment maintenance activities fell in price by 0.2% in June, and by 0.8% over the month. 

The growth of prices in the healthcare sector in June over the year amounted to 3.6% (growth over the month by 0.2%), in the transport sector growth of 6% was recorded (growth over the month by 3%), the decline in the communications sector amounted to 0.5% (growth over the month by 0.1%), in the recreation and culture sector - growth of 1.% (growth over the month by 0.4%), education - 7.8% (0%), in the restaurant and hotel sectors - 2.3% (growth over the month by 0.2%), and for various goods and services in June over the year prices decreased by 0.1% (growth over the month - 0.2%). 

At the same time, according to statistics, in the non-food market in June of this year, compared to June last year, prices decreased by 0.2%, and compared to May of the same year - by 0.5%. In addition, the growth of tariffs for services for the population in June 2025 for the year amounted to 3.5%, and for the month - 0.7%. Economic growth of Armenia in the state budget for 2025 is envisaged at 5.1%. 

According to the Central Bank's report on monetary policy for the second quarter of this year, by the end of 2025, Armenia's GDP growth is expected, depending on the scenario (A-B), to be 5.1-4.6%, in 2026 - 4.9-4.4%, in 2027 - 4.7-5%.
