In November, the inflation rate over the past 12 months in the Armenian consumer market reached 3.1%, as reported by the Statistical Committee (Armstat).

YEREVAN, December 3. /ARKA/. In November, the inflation rate over the past 12 months in the Armenian consumer market reached 3.1%, as reported by the Statistical Committee (Armstat).

Additionally, inflation in November was 0.6% higher compared to October. Meanwhile, prices rose by 3.3% from January to November 2025 when compared to the same timeframe in 2024.

Alcohol and tobacco prices increased by 6.7% year-on-year in November, and by 0.3% compared to October of this year. In comparison to October of this year, clothing and footwear prices saw a decrease of 0.2% in November 2024 (with a month-on-month increase of 1.3%). Meanwhile, utility prices rose by 0.6% (remaining unchanged month-on-month).

The costs of household goods, appliances, and daily apartment maintenance experienced a year-on-year increase of 1% in November, along with a month-on-month rise of 0.6%.

In the healthcare sector, prices increased by 3% year-on-year in November (with a slight month-on-month rise of 0.1%). The transportation sector saw a price increase of 5% (but a month-on-month decrease of 0.6%).

In communications, prices rose by 0.6% year-on-year (with a month-on-month decline of 0.1%). The recreation and culture sector experienced a 2.5% increase (remaining stable month-on-month), while education prices surged by 8.3% (also stable month-on-month). In the restaurant and hotel sectors, prices increased by 2.7% (with a month-on-month rise of 0.1%), and various goods and services saw a year-on-year price increase of 2.4% in November (with a month-on-month increase of 0.8%).

Simultaneously, statistics indicate that prices in the non-food market rose by 1.2% in November of this year compared to November of the previous year, and by 0.5% compared to October of the same year. Additionally, utility tariffs for the population increased by 2.9% year-on-year in November 2025, although a month-on-month decline of 0.1% was noted.

Armenia's state budget for 2025 anticipates an economic growth rate of 5.1%. According to the Central Bank's monetary policy report for the third quarter of this year, Armenia's GDP growth is projected to be between 5.8% and 5.7% by the end of 2025, between 5.7% and 6.2% in 2026, and between 5% and 6.3% in 2027, depending on various scenarios (A-B).-0-
