Industrial output in Armenia decreased by 14.1% in 5 months, amounting to approximately 1 trillion drams

The industrial output in Armenia in January-May 2025 amounted to 1,030,846.9 million drams (in current prices), decreasing by 14.1% compared to January-May 2024.

YEREVAN, July 8. /ARKA/. The industrial output in Armenia in January-May 2025 amounted to 1,030,846.9 million drams (in current prices), decreasing by 14.1% compared to January-May 2024. This is evidenced by the data published by the National Statistical Committee of Armenia.

At the same time, the industrial output in May amounted to 218,591.1 million drams, a decline of 5.9% compared to May 2024, and an increase of 2.9% was recorded compared to April 2025.

The output in the mining industry and open-pit mines for the first five months of this year amounted to 177,523.5 million drams (a 1.6% decline compared to the first five months of 2024), and in the manufacturing industry - 685,547.3 million drams (a 21.5% decline).

The volume in the sphere of electricity, gas, steam and purified air supplies amounted to 155,469.6 million drams (an 11.4% increase), and in the sphere of water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling to 12,306.5 million drams (an 0.8% increase).

The largest share of the output was contributed by the manufacturing industry - 66.5%. The share of mining and open-pit mining is 17.2%, electricity, gas, steam and purified air supply was 15.1%, and water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling was 1.2%. ($1 - 384.11 drams).-0-
