Industrial output in Armenia rose by 12.6% in January-April 2013 from a year earlier to 373.9 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.

YEREVAN, June 12./ARKA/. Industrial output in Armenia rose by 12.6% in January-April 2013 from a year earlier to 373.9 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.
Processing industry accounted for 61.3% of the output, which is 19.1% higher from a year earlier. Its volume valued at 229.4 billion drams.
Mining industry and development of the open pit increased by 15.2% to nearly 62.7 billion drams.
Electric energy, gas, vapor and air conditioning supply fell in Jan-April by 4.2% to 76.2 billion drams. Water supply, waste cleaning and processing, and creating secondary raw materials valued at 5.4 billion drams, which was 10.5% higher from a year earlier. ($1 – 411.94 drams). -0-
