Iran plans to launch car production line in Armenia

YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. One of Iran's largest car manufacturers plans to launch a car production line in Armenia, IRNA news agency reported citing the head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization Alireza Peymanpak.
The Iranian official and Armenian Deputy Economy Minister Narek Teryan discussed the development of trade relations, alternative routes for the transit of goods, as well as the launch of a joint production line of household and electronic appliances.
"Given Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, this could have good results for the two countries," Peymanpak said.
According to him, an Iranian trade delegation will visit Yerevan in mid-October on the occasion of the opening of an Iranian trade center in Armenia. -0-
