Jan-Oct cargo in Armenia ups 3.1% amid average 6.2% growth in CIS

Cargo volume in Armenia (excluding pipeline transport) ascended 3.1% in January-October 2012 from the same period a year earlier amid an average 6.2% rise in the CIS, according to the data published on Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS.

YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Cargo volume in Armenia (excluding pipeline transport) ascended 3.1% in January-October 2012 from the same period a year earlier amid an average 6.2% rise in the CIS, according to the data published on Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS.
In January-October 2012 from the same period, the cargo volume hike was reported in Kazakhstan – 13.5%, Turkmenistan (including pipeline transportation)- 8.3%, Azerbaijan- 6.6%, Kyrgyzstan- 6%, Uzbekistan (including pipeline transportation)- 5.1 %, Tajikistan-4.8%. These countries are followed by Armenia-3.1% and Russia-2.5%.
Cargo tumble was reported in Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine by 2.5%, 2.2% and 0.6% respectively.—0-
