Lot Polish Airlines to resume its Yerevan-Warsaw-Yerevan flights

LOT Polish Airlines will resume its flights from Warsaw to Yerevan and back in July, Polish Deputy Economy Minister Tomasz Tomczykiewicz said at a briefing after the Armenian-Polish intergovernmental economic cooperation commission’s third session held today in Yerevan.

YEREVAN, April 23. /ARKA/. LOT Polish Airlines will resume its flights from Warsaw to Yerevan and back in July, Polish Deputy Economy Minister Tomasz Tomczykiewicz said at a briefing after the Armenian-Polish intergovernmental economic cooperation commission’s third session held today in Yerevan.
The air company ceased operating the mentioned flights on April 1, 2013, for economic reasons.
Tomczykiewicz, answering ARKA News Company’s question, said that the company’s authorities have told him they would resume the flights in late June or early July.
LOT Polish Airlines was established in 1929. In 2003, it became a full member of Star Alliance, and this membership allowed it to make Warsaw one of the transit gates in the Alliance’s global network of routes. The company operates some 200 flights every month to 57 directions in Europe, Northern America and the Middle East every month. -0-
