Memorandum about deepening interaction signed between Eurasian economic commission, Armenia

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Republic of Armenia signed a memorandum about deepening interaction in Yerevan Wednesday.

YEREVAN, November 7. /ARKA/. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Republic of Armenia signed a memorandum about deepening interaction in Yerevan Wednesday.
The document was signed by the chairman of the EEC Board Victor Khristenko and Armenia’s prime-minister Tigran Sargsyan.
Armenia will get an opportunity to attend open meetings of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the council of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the EEC board, according to the report. Armenia will be entitled to having its authorized representative at the EEC.
The decision about signing such a memorandum was made by presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan on October 24 at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Misnk.
After the summit in Minsk the presidents of the Customs Union member countries made a joint statements saying Armenia will take part in the Eurasian integration process. A working group was set up to work over a roadmap for Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union, RIA Novosti reported. –0—
