YEREVAN, March 26. /ARKA/. The procedure for providing compensation to Armenian citizens for flights canceled due to the situation in the Middle East is under development, stated RA Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan.
"This procedure, including technical details, is under development. After its approval, detailed information will be published on official platforms in accordance with the procedure established by the RA government," Badalyan noted on Facebook.
Earlier, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the Armenian government would provide compensation of up to 250,000 drams to citizens whose flights to Armenia or transit flights were canceled and who were forced to purchase new airline tickets.
"This procedure, including technical details, is under development. After its approval, detailed information will be published on official platforms in accordance with the procedure established by the RA government," Badalyan noted on Facebook.
