YEREVAN, July 20. /ARKA/. On the third Sunday of July, workers in the mining and metallurgical industry celebrate their professional holiday—Miner's and Metallurgist's Day. To mark the occasion, celebratory events were held in the city of Agarak at the Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Plant (AMMK), one of the region's leading industrial enterprises.

Today, the plant employs approximately 1,100 people, whose professionalism, responsibility, and dedication are the foundation of the plant's stable operation.

During the celebratory event, more than 50 employees were presented with honorary awards and certificates of appreciation for their many years of dedicated work and high professionalism. The AMMK General Director congratulated the team on their professional holiday, thanked them for their responsible approach to work and contribution to the plant's development, and wished them continued success, safe work, and further production achievements.

Roman Khudoliy, CEO of ZMMK and Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMMK, also attended the event. He presented awards to the plant's veterans, expressed gratitude to the team for their dedicated work, and wished them continued fruitful work, successful implementation of their plans, and achievement of all their goals.

The Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Plant is a city-forming enterprise in the Meghri region and has for many years worked closely with local government authorities, implementing social projects aimed at developing the community and improving the quality of life of its residents.

Khachatur Andreasyan, Head of the Meghri Community, also congratulated the plant's employees on their professional holiday. He noted the plant's significant contribution to the socioeconomic development of the region and presented municipal awards to the employees.

A special sign of recognition was the presentation of a commemorative silver medal named after Argishti I to Roman Khudoly, Chairman of the AMMK Board of Directors, and a bronze medal named after Alexander Spendiarov to the General Director of the Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Plant. The head of the community thanked the company's management for many years of fruitful cooperation, support for social initiatives, and contribution to the development of the Meghri region.

The celebratory event further demonstrated respect for the work of metallurgists and recognition of their important role in the development of industry and the economy of the region.
