YEREVAN, December 25. /ARKA/. A new water treatment plant and garbage collectors have been launched in Yerevan, with the project costing 368 million drams, according to the city's mayor's office.

The aim of the project is to prevent the accumulation of garbage in the Getar and Hrazdan rivers.

Garbage collection devices have been installed in the Shengavit administrative district and along the stretch between the Davidashen and Kyiv bridges.
