YEREVAN, September 22. /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan introduced today the newly appointed finance minister Vardan Aramyan to the ministry’s staff.
"We have, at first glance, a quite complicated, intricate system. I expect the new minister to come out with proposals on how to more effectively manage our cash flows,' said Karapetyan, adding that Aramyan is not a new person in the system being familiar with the financial sector.
The prime minister stressed that the ministry of finance is one of the most important government institutions, saying also new approaches are required in order to ensure the necessary macro-economic indicators. Karapetyan also thanked the former minister Gagik Khachatryan for his work. -- 0--
