YEREVAN, May 29. /ARKA/. The food safety inspectorate commented to the ARKA news agency on the suspension of sales of 64.5 million units of Jermuk water in Russia.
On May 29, Rospotrebnadzor sent an additional order to the operator of the Honest Sign water system to suspend sales of 64.5 million units of Jermuk water in Russia.
"The regulator conducted a sample collection of Jermuk water. Laboratory testing revealed no deviations: the content of bicarbonate, sulfate, and chloride ions complied with the standards established by the technical regulations of the Customs Union," the agency reported.
They emphasized that since the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing of the Russian Federation suspended the sale of "Jermuk," the Armenian Ministry of Economy is currently handling the matter.
