YEREVAN, December 19. /ARKA/. "Nor Projects" plans to invest AMD 500 million in furniture production in Armenia.
By government decision, "Nor Projects" LLC will benefit from an import duty exemption as part of an investment program implemented in a priority sector.
Of the AMD 500 million allocated for the investment program, AMD 80 million will be used for the acquisition of fixed assets, AMD 50 million for construction work, and the remainder for raw materials. The company plans to create 16 new jobs by 2026.
The value of the goods submitted to qualify for the exemption is AMD 220 million. The amount of the customs duty exemption benefit is estimated at 15.4 million drams ($1 = 381.5 drams)
